AXA Achievement Scholarship

One winner from each state is chosen to receive a one- time scholarship of $10,000 and ten are chosen from among these recipients to receive an additional $15,000 and possibly an internship with the company. The scholarship criteria expands beyond academic achievement in that they look for ambition and drive, determination to reach goals, respect for self, family and community and the ability to succeed in college.  Some past winners have made an impact on their community by setting up a local food bank, designing a curriculum to get students interested in math, etc.  For a community-minded and well-rounded student, this could be a lucrative scholarship to win.
